A short cookie policy.

Last updated 14 May 2026. This site uses one cookie. It exists only to remember whether you have accepted or declined the cookie banner. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party cookies, and no tracking pixels on this website.

1 · What is a cookie, briefly.

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. The browser sends that file back to the website on each subsequent visit, which lets the website remember things between page loads. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the website to work; others are used for analytics or advertising. Under EU law, websites in the EEA need your consent for any cookie that is not strictly necessary.

2 · The cookie this site uses.

This site uses exactly one item of local browser storage, stored via the localStorage API rather than as a traditional cookie. Functionally it works the same way; legally it is treated the same way as a cookie under the EU Cookie Directive.

  • Name: vg-cookie-consent
  • Stored where: localStorage in your browser
  • Possible values: accepted or declined
  • Purpose: To remember whether you have already responded to the cookie banner, so that we do not show it to you again on every page load.
  • Lifetime: Until you clear it, manually or through the cookie controls in your browser.
  • Transmitted off your device: No. This value is only read by JavaScript running in your browser.
  • Required: No, but if you decline the banner without storing the choice, the banner will return on the next page load.

3 · What we do not use.

This site does not use Google Analytics, Hotjar, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracker. There are no third-party scripts on the page other than the Google Fonts stylesheet (which loads the typefaces used in the design — no cookies are set by that stylesheet). There is no advertising on the site. We do not run remarketing campaigns. We do not share any data about your visit with any third party for marketing or analytics purposes.

4 · How to clear the choice.

To clear the stored banner choice and see the banner again, open your browser's developer tools, go to the Application or Storage tab, find the Local Storage entry for this site, and delete the vg-cookie-consent key. In most browsers you can also clear all site data through the privacy settings; for this site, doing so will reset only this single value.

5 · Cookies set by Stripe at checkout.

When you proceed to payment, you are redirected from this website to checkout.stripe.com, which is operated by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. Stripe sets a small number of strictly necessary cookies on its own domain to operate the checkout securely (anti-fraud, session). Those cookies are governed by Stripe's own cookie policy and we have no access to or control over them.

6 · Updates to this policy.

If we ever start using additional cookies — we have no plans to — this page will be updated and the cookie banner will reappear with the new options. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page is the canonical version date.
